If you’re going back to the track for the first time in a while… don’t forget to check the SA expiration on your helmet! It might be time for a refresh. Even though helmets are “good for” 11 years (SA-2015 helmets officially expire in 2026) in most organizations, remember that after 5/6 seasons of heat, sweat and bumping around, you should really consider a new one! 2020 Helmets are a getting cheaper in preparation for the new 2025 models.
