A note from Mike Kinney

The NMSA approach regarding enhancing motorsports safety and related processes is fascinating. I am excited to be assisting your efforts. In addition to my motorsports background, I have over 20 years working with organizations to enhance their safety culture, including development of processes, plans, handbooks, and procedures.

Check out my other post FINALLY… a Safety Share Worth Sharing to a safety share developed in conjunction with Autotopia LA. The following safety share captures a vehicular accident in real time, with multiple camera views, and is professionally produced. Of even greater importance, the passenger involved in the accident is very candid about what he could have done to prevent same. In other words, he is more than willing to “own his errors.” Although a few scenes may be a little disturbing to some viewers, the goal of this safety share to provide an approach that can resonate across any organization. Feedback to date has been very positive.

I’m in the production studio on Fridays, hosting Cars, Stars & Roll Bars. While I’m not in the same league as a series of your incredible guests on Break/Fix, (grin) I would also be interested in an approach that would be of interest to your listeners as well as provide value.

Thanks, man.
